Elbow pads
Hockey elbow pads protect this important joint and other parts of the arms from impacts on the ice. Flying pucks, slashes, collisions, and falls can all cause elbow damage; while elbow pads are sometimes an afterthought, they're an essential part of your protective kit.
Gloves
Skaters gloves help prevent the hands getting bruised and battered and stops them from getting burned from the ice. The top padding and shell thumb is designed to help protect the player from flying hockey pucks and opponents' ice hockey sticks.
Helmet & Facemask
A hockey helmet is worn by players of ice hockey, to help protect the head from potential injury when hit by the puck, sticks, skates, or the ice. The shell of a hockey helmet is generally made of a substance called vinyl nitrile that disperses force from the point of contact, while the liner may be made of either vinyl nitrile foam, expanded polypropylene foam, or other material to absorb the energy, to reduce the chances of concussion.
Neck Yard
Hockey neck guards provide essential protection for the neck and throat areas of players, reducing the risk of injury from potential impacts and collisions on the ice. They are designed to absorb shock and prevent injury from high-speed collisions and contact with sticks, pucks, and other players.
Pants/Breezers
Hockey pants are knee-to-waist protective gear for ice hockey players. The pants carry a variety of padding depending on whether they are worn by goaltenders or skaters (forwards and defenders), and also on the manufacturer.
Supporter and Cup
Cups lower the risk of injuries by protecting the groin from an impact with a puck or another person. Cups, or protective cups, soften blows to the groin while transferring the shock of the impact away from highly sensitive and vulnerable body parts.
shoulder pads
Shoulder pads are an essential piece of protective equipment for hockey players, providing crucial protection for the upper body while allowing for freedom of movement during play.
jersey
A hockey sweater or jersey is a piece of clothing worn by ice hockey players to cover the upper part of their bodies.
shin pads
Shin guards are primarily designed to protect your shins from pucks and hockey sticks (hacks and slashes) and protect your knees from the ice when you fall. Mid and high-end models also protect your calves.
skates
A hockey skate has a rigid boot typically made of a synthetic material—plastic, for example—and is designed to protect the feet from the hard puck, from hockey sticks, and from other players' skates.
socks
Hockey socks are ankle-to-thigh garments worn over protective gear by ice hockey players. They are form-fitting, and traditionally made of a cotton or synthetic rib-knit fabric.
stick
A hockey stick is a piece of sports equipment used by the hockey players to move the puck either to push, hit, pass the puck during play with the objective being to move the puck around the playing area using the stick, and then trying to score.
