The Youth Teams Hockey League of Ukraine (UMHL) was established on May 15, 2019, aiming to foster the growth of children's and youth hockey in the country through innovative approaches and by drawing upon global best practices. Recognizing the necessity for a league that integrates the most successful elements from leading European and North American youth hockey organizations, UMHL oversees competitions across all age groups beginning from the 2019-2020 season.
