Storm-Odesa – Kryzhynka (Kyiv). Preview of the matches
February 11-12th, 18:00, Odesa, Palace of Sports. Broadcast: YouTube FHU
During February, three rival meetings are anticipated, with two taking place in Odesa. Oleksandr Bobkin’s team took a break in the championship due to national team matches, playing four games in the new year. The journey to Kyiv saw the shootout series triumph over Capitals and suffer a narrow defeat against Sokil. Meanwhile, playing at home, Storm-Odesa beat Dnipro, securing two convincing victories over the Kherson team.
As for the team from Kyiv, Ihor Arkhypenko and his team had a packed schedule with minimal breaks. Within nine days, Kryzhynka and Kryzhynka-Capitals played two matches. In the Ukrainian championship, our team faced defeats against the league leaders, Sokil and Kyiv Capitals. In the Junior Hockey League, they initially lost then triumphed twice over Sokil and secured two wins against Kremenchuk. Consequently, the demanding schedule leads them to Odessa.
In this season, the teams have met three times, with Storm securing victory on each game. Undoubtedly, playing in front of their fans will provide extra motivation for the hosts to aim for six points. Nonetheless, our team will strive to put up a strong resistance against their opponents.
