Kostiantyn Butsenko’s team played its` second match in two days with just one change in the lineup. Terletskyi replaced Taras Muryn at the goal. The Kyiv team had one less hockey player in the line-up, and the third line saw significant changes.

Dnipro quickly took the lead with a goal from Tsiura after a shot from an acute angle. Shortly after, Ihor Arkhypenko’s team had an opportunity to play with a man advantage, but failed to capitalize on it.

On the other hand, the guests scored two more goals by the middle of the first period through the efforts of Duiun and Osadchyi. In the final minutes, Kryzhynka had another power play opportunity, but the opposing team not only defended successfully but also scored while short-handed. Laktionov intercepted the puck himself and scored.

In the second 20 minutes, Kryzhynka`s players had multiple opportunities to play with a man advantage, but they were unable to beat Terletskyi. Meanwhile, Dnipro extended their lead after Zhovtyak’s goal.

As the game entered the final period, the Kyiv team conceded four more goals. Duiun scored two, completing a hat-trick, while Khalin and Osadchyi each added one goal (with Osadchyi scoring a double). Terletskyi also achieved his first shutout of the championship.

This victory earned the Kherson team their 12th point in the standings. They will face Storm-Odesa in an away match on January 23. On the other hand, Kryzhynka will play against Kyiv Capitals on Saturday.
