November 25th, 18:00. Kyiv, Arena ATEK. Broadcast: YouTube Kyiv Capitals
Today’s postponed match of the 10th round will see Ihor Arkhypenko’s players facing off against the reigning champions, Sokil, for the second time this season.
This match marks the fourth game for our team in the last seven days, making for a busy schedule. Last Saturday, Kryzhynka faced off against a tough opponent in Bila Tserkva, but unfortunately couldn’t secure any points against Dnipro.
Meanwhile, Oleg Shafarenko’s players made the journey across the Kyiv, adding to the intensity of their game against Capitals. Despite Sokil having an extra day of rest, their match against Vadym Shakhraichuk`s team was fiercely competitive, ultimately ending in victory for them. Notably, Viktor Zakharov scored a goal in his return to the team after recovering from an injury.
With such a packed schedule and little time for recovery, both teams may see changes in their lineups for this match. The previous encounter between Kryzhynka and Sokil ended in a 5:1 victory for our rivals, with Denys Zherebko scored twice for Oleg Shafarenko’s team while Vadym Mazur, Matvii Burdakov, and Artem Kalsin also found the net for the opposing team. At the same time, Yehor Zelenskyi scored for Ihor Arkhypenko’s team.
In terms of top scorers, Maksym Zherebko leads the scoring charts for Sokil with four goals, while Oleksandr Buniak has been the standout performer for Kryzhynka, netting three goals so far.
As the teams prepare to face each other once again, it remains to be seen how the upcoming match will unfold.
