Ihor Arkhypenko’s players are set to face off against their direct competitor in the standings, Dnipro from Kherson. Just like opponents, our team hasn`t secured any points in the championship yet. However, while the current bronze medalists have suffered six defeats, the Kyiv team has played four matches.

It’s worth noting that Dnipro underwent significant changes before this season. Many players and the coaching staff moved to Storm-Odessa and still base in the south of Ukraine.

In contrast, Dnipro relocated to Bila Tserkva, with Kostiantyn Butsenko, former coach of Bilyi Bars, taking the helm of the Kherson team. Many of the newcomers played for Bilyi Bars in Junior Hockey League previous season. Additionally, Pike’s roster has been bolstered by several Berserks hockey players, including Taras Karnaukh, Dmytro Klionov, Taras and Valentyn Muryns, Denys Osadchyi, Daniil Derkach, Daniil Duiun, and Dmytro Khalin.

Dnipro has an experience advantage because of start of their training camp in September, engaging in friendly matches, and participating in the Ukrainian Cup. But both teams are in desperate need of their debut points. As a result, we anticipate an exciting and competitive match!
