The tournament is organized under the supervision of the Department of Youth and Sports of the City of Kyiv and the Kyiv Hockey Federation.

Winners and prize-winners in all age categories are determined by the end of December. The teams that secure the first places receive the cup, while other top-performing teams receive prizes. Individual prizes from the competition organizers await the best players of the tournament. Additionally, in mid-December, the participants of the "Golden Puck" Festival, who represent Kyiv's children's and youth hockey schools, are awarded.

The event is held without fixing the results of the matches and determining the winner and prize-winners. All participants are awarded commemorative medals and certificates for participation in the festival.
